Aurora: Air Desktop Media Player
Aurora Media Player was developed in collaboration with David Serrano.
When Air was launched, we want to explore the new features to interact on the desktop environment. I also explore the Flex skinning capabilities applied to an Air application.
With Aurora, we want to create a robust media Player (videos and audio) that could play rss media and local files. These features need a clear mechanisms of interaction, and as goodie, the media player can close all his content areas to display only a window playing the media.
The Flex Adobe User Group was agree with the result and declared Aurora as the winner of AirContest 2008.
